| The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) has released the Fiscal Year 2025 solicitation for the Training and Services to End Abuse in Later Life Program (Abuse in Later Life Program). This grant program supports a comprehensive approach to addressing abuse in later life, including domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, neglect, abandonment, economic abuse, or willful harm committed against victims who are 50 years of age or older.Eligible Applicants
Applicants eligible to apply for this program are States; Units of local government; Tribal governments or Tribal organizations; Population specific organizations; Victim service providers; and State, Tribal, or territorial domestic violence or sexual assault coalitions. - OVW is offering a Pre-Application Information Session for the OVW Abuse in Later Life Program solicitation on January 14, 2025, at 2:00 PM ET. During this session, OVW staff will summarize the program’s requirements, review the funding opportunity, and answer questions. The webinar will be captioned in English and Spanish. Registration for this information session can be completed by emailing OVW.Elder@usdoj.gov. Attendees must register by January 9, 2025.
